Fenwick Island
The coastal town of Fenwick Island is actually not an island, but the center of a narrow peninsula con- necting Delaware and Maryland. The southern-most beach on the Delaware shoreline, Fenwick Island is known and loved by vacationers as a quieter option to its lively neighbors — Ocean City, MD, to the south and Dewey Beach and Rehoboth, DE, to the north. But there is plenty to do here. Restaurant options range from the fabulous Sedona to the homey Jimmy’s Kitchen, and there are fun beach shops along Coast- al Highway.
