BELVEDERE
Life-long neighbors and quiet streets near Belvedere Square
As the name implies, this is the neighborhood behind Belvedere Square, along the east side of York Road, bordering Govans. Govans Elementary School, beloved by parents, is slated to get a new building in 2019. The recently restored Senator Theatre has been a pride of the neighborhood since opening in 1939.
