Over the past four years, the Yonkers Industrial Development Agency (YIDA) has provided financial incentives to development projects representing
a total private investment of nearly $2 billion.
The developments are projected to create over 4,000 new residential units — of which a percentage are set aside for affordable housing — and upwards of 6,000 full-time and part-time construction jobs.

The Westchester-Putnam Career Center Network (WPCCN)
is made up of four career centers primarily staffed by Westchester and Putnam County, and NYS Department of Labor employees
to provide free state-of-the-art technology, training, workshops, resources, career counseling, and recruiting services. We have helped connect thousands of people to training and employment in all types of industries, and job positions. The WPCCN is overseen by the Westchester-Putnam Workforce Development Board which includes private and public sector leaders.
