                2023-24 Legislative/Advocacy Programs
Advocating for our members and the Westchester business community continues to be one of the BCW’s top priorities. Each year, legislative bills are passed (and not passed) in local, state, and federal legislatures that have a powerful impact on Westchester’s economy and the day-to-day operations of businesses of all sizes. The BCW’s ongoing commitment is to be the “eyes, ears, and voice” for our members on all levels of government. The BCW’s advocacy program allows our members on a daily basis to receive important updates on key legislative issues that impact their business sector. The BCW’s Government Action Council produces an annual Legislative Agenda, which covers critical issues on all levels of government and is sent to every elected official in the county as well as statewide elected officials. The BCW’s advocacy program also schedules important meetings and events in which our members can participate, including our Political Leadership Series, the Annual Albany Lobby Day, the Washington D.C. Lobby Day, The BCW’s Voter Voice program, and our annual Energy Conference and reception for the Westchester County Board of Legislators.
The BCW urges all members to get involved in the advocacy program in 2024. For more information, please contact John Ravitz at jravitz@thebcw.org.
