FINE ART/MUSEUMS
There’s no knocking MoMA, the Guggen- heim or the American Museum of Natural History, but Westchester is rightly proud of its numerous art galleries and museums, in- cluding the 78,000 sq. ft. Neuberger Muse- um of Art at Purchase College. Designed by world-renowned architect Philip Johnson, it is the nation’s 10th-largest university mu- seum. Other popular venues include the Ka- tonah Museum of Art and the planetarium of the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers.

Nearby Yonkers also boasts the indoor-skydiving mecca iFly, the only one to be found in New York State. Brand- new to the county is the exciting Spins Hud- son in Peekskill. Boasting 40,000 sq. ft. of intense family adventure, it is the largest entertainment venue on the Hudson River.

The fact is, Westchester boasts mul- tiple venues — like the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater in Peekskill, Caramoor in Katonah or the Tarrytown Music Hall — which all draw the industry’s hottest tal- ent throughout the year.
