Q&A
MEET THE NEW BOARD CHAIR:
Caitlin Ganley
Q: HOW DID YOU FIRST BECOME INVOLVED WITH THE CHAMBER?
A: I became a member of the Board five
years ago. Prior to that, I used to work in government, and I dealt with the Chamber a lot as part of their advocacy work in Washington, DC. Now the roles are reversed so that I’m the one advocating on behalf of the Chamber. It’s been really nice to come back to Chester County and see how much the Chamber is doing in the community.
Q: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH IN YOUR ROLE AS BOARD CHAIR?
6 Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry
The Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry’s Board of Directors plays a crucial role in guiding the Chamber’s future and advising its leadership. Its members represent some of the area’s most significant employers, including Vanguard, Wawa, Energy Transfer Partners, and Main Line Health.
A: I’m looking forward to expanding our membership and sponsors while continuing to be a voice for businesses in Chester County. I want to do that by expanding some of our committees — Government Affairs, Women Influencing Business,
Young Professionals, and the Ambassadors, who are the face of our Chamber for new members. So I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running and getting people more involved so they’ll see what the Chamber has to offer.
