CORE’s goals are to:
1. Examine policies and proce- dures to strive for racial equity and elimination of systemic and institu- tional racism.
2. Create an environment where litigants and families are valued, heard and respected.
3. Increase racial diversity and promotion in hiring practices.
4. Collect, examine and maintain race-specific data.
5. Provide cultural competency and educational opportunities for all employees.
The anonymous court-wide survey
We must not only value the importance of creating a workplace culture where employees feel they can be themselves, raise concerns and innovate without fear of failure, but it is imperative that we empower our employees by being responsive to their voices.
was emailed to all employees on October 1, 2020, with a requested re- sponse date of October 10, 2020. The purpose of the survey was to ascertain critical information to enable CORE to know and understand the experi- ences and concerns of our fellow Family Court employees. Forty percent of Fam- ily Court employees completed the brief survey. CORE recognizes and appreci- ates that we are at an inflection point.

The Delaware Bar Foundation serves to improve the administration of justice in Delaware and to fund programs that enhance public respect for the law and foster knowledge of citizenship rights and responsibilities. Administering IOLTA for the Supreme Court of Delaware, the Foundation has provided over $28 million to fund legal services for those less fortunate.
