The 19 featured virtual reality attractions include:
Beach at Deep Creek Lake State Park: Swim, rent a kayak or just relax at this scenic, sandy spot. A boat launch area, open 24 hours a day (weather permitting), is available.
Youghiogheny River: One of several prime destinations for white-water rafting.
Craft Brews: Garrett County is home to
a number of outlets featuring craft brews, including Mountain State Brewing Company, a West Virginia microbrewery that has a popular outpost in McHenry.
Mountain Fresh Farmers Market: Farmers and bakers offer fresh, local products year-round.
Vacation Home: Rental homes are the most common accommodation in the area. They can be rented directly from owners or through vacation rental companies.
Hiking & Biking: Garrett County offers over 40 hiking and biking trails, including Loch Lynn Heights Wetlands Trail, Kitzmiller River Walk, Meadow Mountain Trail & Overlook, Kendall Trail, and a trail at Swallow Falls State Park leading to Muddy Creek Falls, the tallest free-falling falls in Maryland.
Golf: Garrett County is home to several championship-level golf courses offering
a challenge for everyone from novices to experienced golfers.
Town of Grantsville: Grantsville offers a variety of shopping and dining options and attractions, including Casselman River Bridge State Park, Penn Alps Restaurant & Craft Shop, Spruce Forest Artisan Village and Monroe Run Scenic Overlook, among others.

The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with YouVisit, hosts a 360° virtual-reality experience that includes videos and photos from locations throughout the county.
The experience starts with a two-minute introductory video featuring such popular attractions as Deep Creek Lake, the Mountain Fresh Farmers Market, Muddy Creek Falls at Swallow Falls State Park, the Honi Honi Bar, the scenic overlook at Accident, a vacation rental home and more. Next, you are invited to explore 19 individual attractions
by navigating around 360° panoramic images of each location. Videos embedded in the images provide an even better idea of what awaits you.
