EXCEPTIONAL
Venues
Westchester offers countless out-of-the-ordinary setting for your next corporate event. Here are just a few of our terrific options:
Castle Hotel & Spa
This historic venue is the perfect refuge, set on one of the County’s highest points overlooking the Hudson, sitting amid acres of lush gardens and manicured lawns. Your team will be wowed by the spectacular, 1,500-square- foot Great Hall, with 40-foot vaulted ceilings, original Gothic windows and heraldic motifs. And after business, it’s time to unwind at the luxurious THANN Sanctuary Spa.
Radisson Hotel New Rochelle
Conveniently located just two blocks from New Roc City,
the hotel is an ideal spot for a conference or training session with a 3,600-square-foot main event space. You can also take advantage of smaller rooms, perfect for your breakout sessions. When the work is done, enjoy NoMa Social, a Zagat- rated restaurant that serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes and tapas on the premises.
Marriott Renaissance, Westchester
With 23,000+ square feet of event space, this elegant property offers versatile options for up to
650 attendees in a
single space and
more than 20
rooms for break-
out sessions.
Consider the
historic Red
Oak Mansion,
with stone walls
and French doors opening onto wooded acres, for a catered lunch.
WE’RE ACCESSIBLE
Few spots have our wide array of transportation options:
The County is at the nexus of major highways that include I-95, connecting NY to Connecticut, Rhode Island
and Boston; the Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) linking the Hudson’s Tappan Zee Bridge with the County Seat of White Plains and the east County, and countless north-south thoroughfares that make getting around by car, limo, bus and taxi a breeze.
Three Metro-North Railroad routes with 43 stops bring passengers from New York City’s Grand Central Station
WE’RE RICH WITH CHOICES
Once the meetings, presentations and workshops are done, there is so much to do that you’ll have trouble deciding how to spend your leisure time:
to the County — one along the Hudson, one through White Plains, and one along the Long Island Sound shoreline. The trip takes just over 30 minutes, on average. Plus, Amtrak stops along the Hudson and at New Rochelle to the east.
Over 1.9 million passengers use the Westchester County Airport each year. Connecting with destinations like Boston, Chicago and Atlanta, the airport is a short drive to accommodations and meeting venues. For top executives, it’s one of the nation’s busiest hubs for private planes and jets. And all three major NY- area airports — LaGuardia (LGA), JFK and Newark (EWR) — are within an hour’s drive from Westchester.
 For the History Buff
Westchester is home to countless
sites of interest. You can tour estates associated with famous names like industrialist John D. Rockefeller or author Washington Irving. Fascinated by the Revolutionary War? Washington ate here, slept here and planned campaigns against the British here. Plus, we were home to Founding Fathers John Jay
and Thomas Paine and boast numerous historic homes, churches and museums.
 For the Foodie
Westchester has one of the hottest culinary scenes around. Just about every town has a cluster of creative and award-winning restaurants, many of which draw on local resources to give you true farm-to-table freshness. You’ll find water-view dining options on both the Hudson and Long Island Sound. And did we mention wine, beer and spirits? Locally brewed ales abound and there’s a Wine and Food fest every June, featuring experts and tastings.
For the Outdoor Enthusiast Take your group on an invigorating excursion along the County’s scenic trails. Check out the Croton-on Hudson and Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow sections
yo
interpretive signs on local ecology, culture and history. Gotham Bicycle Tours can arrange a guided ride along the historic Old Croton Aqueduct, including the bike rentals. For a complete Hike and Bike map and brochure, go to VisitWestchesterNY.com.

 For the Shopper
An afternoon of retail therapy will reinvigorate your group and provide some tangible take-aways from your Westchester visit. This is the place to find unique boutiques along friendly main streets in towns like Mount Kisco, Tarrytown and Larchmont, plus posh retailers like Neiman Marcus and Gucci in high-end malls.
For the Culture Maven Westchester has it all — galleries and museums and, on the performing arts side, a quality symphony orchestra and venues that host everything from top rock groups to improv, dance to classical quartets, film to Broadway musicals.
WE’RE HAPPY TO HELP PLAN an after-meeting itinerary to remember — just contact the Westchester Tourism & Film team for assistance at 800-833-9282.
