Christiana Care’s Stay at Home, Breathe Easier program by the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) teaches patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) how to successfully manage their illness. The program has been shown
to considerably reduce the rate of hospitalization for any reason in patients with COPD. For select cases you may choose TeleHealth, a technology that reads your patient’s daily vital signs in their homes and sends the information directly to you.
