powerful software product will improve staff productivity by automating manual tasks and communications. And when we need to inform of our advocacy activities or needs, MSD staff can easily develop
a grassroots outreach by communicating

membership, such as the constituents of a certain legislator.
At the heart of iMIS is the RiSE web development platform. This secure, on Microsoft technology. You can log into the website using your LinkedIn
or Facebook credentials or use the single sign-on feature of the system that provides you access to the website and information stored in the database.
I’ve mentioned a lot about what iMIS will do to help the MSD organization and staff. So what’s in it for you? Through the functionality of iMIS and the integration of the RiSE website, you are empowered. Members will have their information, what committees you may be involved in or allow you to sign up
for one, and view your purchase history. It will be able to remind you that you contributed in the prior year to one of the MSD Foundations or DELPAC, or that your membership renewal is due. You have the ability to manage and information, which in turn is updated in real time in the database system.
Through the secure e-commerce functionality, you’ll be able to purchase MSD products and services made
available online, register for events,
and renew your membership with the capability of paying by credit or debit card, electronic funds transfer, and PayPal payments which integrates with the MSD accounting system. This is all done with the highest level of security for your credit card and other personal data.
Forget your sign-in password after the

register for an event? No worries, just request through the system to create a for a colleague on a major holiday? No problem. You have access to a searchable membership directory. You now have control 24/7/365.
And, talk about being connected, with the online community functionality, you are empowered to connect, communicate, and collaborate with colleagues online through this system. Special interest communities can be formed for you to join, and it doesn’t necessarily need to
be about an MSD initiative. If you want to establish an online community of physician members who are pet owners, wine connoisseurs, or whatever you
can imagine, you can do that. Each community is secure having its own security settings, discussion forums, wikis, and blogs.
Through the Social Media integration capabilities, you can comment on or rate events and products provided by MSD. You can also recommend and share website content and events on popular social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Members may work collaboratively to author Wiki articles,
a knowledge base, or an encyclopedia of industry information.
You’ll also have the capability of accessing the system on the go. With our “responsive” website format, you can matter what device you are using, be it desk top, lap top, tablet, or mobile phone, and be able to read and understand the information without having to scroll your screen.
You can see why iMIS is one of the
more utilized software products for association management organizations, including many of the state medical societies across the country. More than a thousand iMIS clients have used iMIS for ten years or more. iMIS clients comprise a variety of organizations and interests few of the iMIS clients include: The Children’s Hospital Association; Asthma Foundation; Intensive Care Society; Society of Critical Care Medicine; The Royal College of Emergency Medicine; Cerebral Palsy League; Country Music Association, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.; and the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. iMIS has locations worldwide including the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia. iMIS will enable MSD to focus on its mission, not our technology’s underperformance.
