The MSD Council is representative of Delaware physicians in private practice; those employed by hospitals and health systems; physicians in the academic, corporate, and government arena; recognized Delaware specialty societies; osteopathic physicians; physicians practicing in the eight designated geographic areas across the state; and our resident/ fellow, early career, and retired colleagues.
The Council holds two meetings each year, an Interim Meeting in the Spring and the Annual Meeting in the Fall. The expertise, engagement, and participation of Council members are essential to the quality of deliberations and effective communications between MSD and the organizations and members who are represented on the Council. Representatives on the Council serve as a liaison between the physicians they represent and MSD.
