STEPHEN S. GRUBBS, MD has been named the Senior Director
of the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s (ASCO) new
Clinical Affairs Department. Before joining ASCO, Dr. Grubbs worked as an Oncologist and managing partner at Medical Oncology Hematology Consultants, in Newark. He is the Principal Investigator of the Delaware Christiana Care National Cancer Institute (NCI) Community Oncology Research Program and serves on the Advisory Council of the Delaware Cancer Consortium.
Dr. Grubbs, a Past President of the Medical Society of Delaware, was also a founder of MedNet, the Medical Society’s subsidiary formed 20 years ago to provide direct support to the four physician organizations (POs) in our state. Dr. Grubbs served on the MedNet Board of Directors since its inception and his strong leadership and dedication to physician advocacy has been greatly appreciated and will be deeply missed.

BAYHEALTH MILFORD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL was granted a three-year term of accreditation in Echocardiography in adult transthoracic echocardiograms by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission.
The United States Paralympics Committee has designated NEMOURS/ALFRED I. DUPONT HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN as a Paralympic Sports Club. With this designation the hospital offers competitive opportunities for athletes with visual and physical disabilities.
