Q. Why did the American Birding Association move from Colorado to Delaware City?
A. We chose Delaware for our new headquarters for two main reasons:
birds and people. Delaware’s location, right on the Atlantic Coast and in the center of the Atlantic Flyway, means that it has lots of both and is an ideal place to introduce people from all walks of life to the wonder and excitement of birds. Delaware offers great birding opportunities year round for everyone, whether your interest in birds is casual or hardcore.
