The Center’s mission is to ignite passion, curiosity and respect for our natural world. The 33-acre property includes a woodland preserve with
hiking trails, organic garden, nature’s discovery playground, native wildflower meadow, greenroof exhibit and over 100 rescued and rehabilitated animals. Greenburgh Nature Center has been a leader in environmental education since 1975, with programs for all ages, seasonal camps, community events, environmental forums and green birthday parties. A wide range of volunteer opportunities are also available. Grounds are open daily dawn-dusk throughout the year and indoor exhibits are open daily (except for Fridays and some holidays). 9:30am- 4:30pm weekdays, 10am-4:30pm weekends.
