WHERE MODERN MEN BEGIN
Winter BRIDGE (Building Relationships in S Diverse Global Environments) 2019
alesianum students embarked on service learning trips in January, timed with the long holiday weekend that celebrates the life, achievements and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King. Groups of 10 students and two faculty chaperones visited Tuba City, Arizona; El Paso, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico. The trips include various service components, but place a primary focus on meeting people, discussing a variety of complex humanitarian issues, including immigration, and visiting vastly different geographical areas while becoming immersed in
different cultures within our own country. The trips’ goal is to enable students to see Christ’s face in everyone they encounter regardless of circumstance, background or beliefs.
