Women’s Traffic Club Thanks 63
Leading Ladies, Including Eight in Attendance
T
he 42nd Past President Luncheon of The Women’s Traffic &
Transportation Club paid specific tribute to the 80-year-old club’s 63
leaders. The event, held in mid-February at the Sparrows Point Country
Club, included participation by Dorothy Gerber, a member since 1943, and was
hosted by Cindie King.
King took luncheon guests on “a stroll down memory lane, recalling by decade
41 past presidents no longer with us, the 14 that could not partake and the eight
past presidents in
attendance,” said Bridget
Lowy, current Women’s
Traffic Club President and
President of Dartrans, Inc.
Preparations are
also under way for
the Women’s Traffic
& Transportation Club
80th Anniversary Dinner,
scheduled for June 12,
6-10 p.m., at the Sparrows
Point Country Club.
